On Saturday 13 May 2023, Councillor Sue Sharps was elected as the new Mayor of Brackley during the annual, traditional Mayor Making Ceremony.

During the mayoral year, as her chosen charities, our new mayor will be raising money for South Northants Youth Engagement (SNYE) and the Brackley Foodbank. 

​

Sue has been a volunteer here at Brackley Foodbank for many years, attends all of our meetings (in spite of a very busy schedule) and has always been a champion of the foodbank’s aims and ambitions in her role as a councillor.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sue for her continuing support, and to wish her the best of luck in her year as Mayor of Brackley.
